Does Boundary County residents want our public library joining the American Library Association (ALA)?
Well our director just joined in May (without board vote). The photos above is a section of their policy manual… They are telling their members (our library) to resist us, the patrons. The library is suppose to be a collection of books and materials that refects the interest of it’s community. If the community doesn’t want books with sex then the ALA has no right telling our library to resist us! Period…
Here is an article that explains the long term goals of the ALA. This is not a joke please do your research and understand how the ALA is using our tax dollars to train local libraries to resist the community.
